The multi-dimensionality of cybersecurity and its relevance to the functioning of international institutions, national actors and society

International research 2022/2023
The research objective is to analyse cybersecurity in terms of its supra-national character, including cyber threats occurring in public, private and social spaces. Cybersecurity constitutes a barrier to threats emerging in cyberspace and its protection is crucial not only for political or legal reasons but also for economic and social ones. The multi-dimensionality of cybersecurity requires the application of various tools to ensure the safe use of ICT systems, including educational, technical, financial, legal and political, along with engaging qualified staff to deal with cybersecurity and to provide an adequate level of digital competence in society.
